ABOUT US

I'm a retired teacher tapping into her artistic abilities to bring a smile to every hidden artist.

A native New Yorker, recently moved to SWFL from New Jersey after years in the NJ Public School system and teaching Arts & Crafts at Summer Camp.

A Taste of Art and Wine was started 5 years ago by accident. A group of friends were visiting and talking about this new wave up north and in the west coast. As we were hanging out we decided to try it out while they were visiting. We went through my art supplies and pulled out some canvases, paints and brushes. We opened up a bottle of wine and put out some appetizers. I took them step by step through the instructions to complete a painting. We had such a blast socializing, talking, laughing, comparing our paintings enjoying our wine and getting a bite to eat that we decided it was worth looking into... thus was created the first class.

Soon after some of those friends asked me to do a class in their homes and so the word of mouth started a trend. The difference with A Taste of Art and Wine is that I come to your home with all of the art materials. By hosting a class at home you get more for your money.

Most Art & Wine classes are held at a rented storefront or restaurant. Once there your guests or the participants have to purchase their food and  drinks from the venue. My way, you invite up to 10 friends to keep it intimate and fun, tell them its a BYOB affair, you can either ask them to bring a dish to share or provide the appetizers yourself. Once I set up a space, open enough to accommodate your guests and they all arrive, we get started with the fun. It keeps the cost down and provides a more intimate venue for you and your guests.

Hosting an event for a Special Occasion like a Birthday or Girls Night with a minimum of 5 guests and/or having at least 3 guests sign up for a future Art & Wine Party qualifies you to participate for FREE. This makes you the Host with the Most perks!
